Matt Sloane

Matt Sloane, founder of AyurvedaFlow, is an artist, writer, facilitator, course designer and creativity/business coach — many times, they all feel one in the same.

A lot of practitioners struggle with finding the time to tap into their creativity with a full schedule of consultations, research, and running a business. They also want to work with people committed to change, yet that kind of person is rare.

Your innate wisdom already knows how to work with these challenges. I will help you revisit that sacred place in yourself.

While interviewing Ayurvedic Practitioners, I discovered that we had a lot in common. In this clip, I speak briefly about creative projects and holding a sacred space (video loads below)…

Why Ayurvedic Practitioners, Matt?

A few years ago, I began working with Ellen Garris of Vitality and Balance in Marin county, California. We focused on what I was calling into my life at the time:

  • Love
  • Health
  • Creativity

I created a meditation space in my home, began eating foods that nourished my dosha, massaging myself with warm oils, and even explored colors that I could keep in my environment.

Since then, having incorporated some basic principles into my way of living, I find myself to be more alive!

This is a time of returning to ancient wisdom. In the United States, and many Western cultures, we have become so separate from our true essence that I feel called to support those who engage in the practice of healing via reintegration of heart, body, and mind.

My own journey has led me to various books, workshops and programs that all point to a similar theme: change. But rather than the emphasis being on the importance of being different, I found these themes arising:

  • Compassion for where I am now.
  • Expressing myself in alignment with my values.
  • Learning how to relate to change, planned or otherwise.

Ayurveda speaks to me. I believe in this system as a compelling and complimentary method for healing myself and in doing so, modeling what it means to take responsibility for my own well-being.

Every Ayurvedic Practitioner is like a seed, spreading knowledge that aims to restore balance – may I be of use in supporting this profession so that the wisdom of Ayurveda can find its way to many loving homes.
